Visited Red Fork Falls with the NSO group. Great place to walk around and explore. If you are looking for me I will probably be there this summer!

Buckeye Falls

Hiked to a place where you can see all of Buckeye Falls with the NSO group. The falls are a wet weather fall and unfortunately we went when it had very low water flow. You can barely see the water. Some frozen water is visible to the left of the falls, that is not the main fall. The other pics are along the way.

Strange days in Asheville

Robin, the kids and I went to spend the day in our favorite city, Asheville. Turns out it was Mardi Gras weekend...something always is going on in Asheville.

Medical Marijuana Rights Rally

Some pictures from the Medical Marijuana Rights Rally. Lots of debate regarding this subject so I would encourage everyone to do their own research. I do find it strange how the same people who have problems with utilizing a natural plant proven to have medical benefits are the same who have no issues taking medications full of chemicals with known side effects. Advertising does wonders.

Overmountain Hike

Hiked a portion of the Overmountain Victory Trail and connected to the Appalachian Trail to hike across Hump Mountain with Clifton, Taco, Mike and Jason. Awesome weather, clear sky, snow on the ground, cold night and a hot shoe melting fire.....here are a few pics
